Hope and Health is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that supports people with intellectual disabilities (PwID) and their families living in the municipality of Chisinau in Moldavia, by providing social and consulting services with the purpose of their social integration, protection of their rights and interests, such as the right to a decent life, the right to support and the right to self-realization.
It is an open kind of organization which works on changing the attitudes of the society regarding people with mental and psychological disabilities. It seeks to make such people live socially integrated having civil rights.
They work with different kinds of volunteers (at the administrative level and/or for social services for the disabled)

The NGO seeks to help mentally disabled people by making them socially integrated members of society with equal rights. It aims to make them have state-guaranteed civil rights to material, medical, social, and legal support. It is working for guaranteed free social housing for each person with disabilities. It is also working for developing appropriate infrastructure covering PwID needs, including social rehabilitation centers and employment centers in each district. Not only that, it also works with the family members of such people as well as the society at large to change their attitudes towards such people and equip them with the knowledge, skills and resources to support and sustain people with intellectual disabilities (PwID).
