Bolivia Digna is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Cochabamba, Bolivia and founded in 2006. Its objective is to promote and defend the rights of infants, children, adolescents, senior citizens and other vulnerable social groups living in exclusion and poverty, in some of the poorest communities in Latin America.
The NGO defends the human rights of vulnerable groups of Bolivia. They develop social programs aimed at the prevention of violence, the protection and defense of children who are victims of violence, but also promoting education in Human Rights and Responsibilities, responsible leadership, and promotion of Christian values.
They run several projects and, each of them, while assisting the target group, also has the aim of promoting and instilling a culture of volunteering.
You must be at least 18 to volunteer with them. Roles do not require any previous experience. You just need to be motivated, open-minded, organized and reliable!
They work in centers provided by the local community and attend their community meetings to better guide us on what the parents are looking for and to explain to the parents why it is important for their children to participate. They are directly benefiting more than 200 infants, children and adolescents from around 100 families.
They equip the classroom and provide essential learning materials for the kids. Each day they also provide each child with a healthy snack and drinking water that most do not have access to at home.
Each day they offer a program of activities that are both educational and fun for the different age groups.
They need your active support. You can check their website to get more information.
